There are few things that scare me, but the dark is one of them. I haven't always been scared of the dark, but lately it has been getting worse. I asked my dr for help, but she said there's nothing she can do, but she said these things usually fade in November or if not, after 4 years. I hope she's right

My old man lives in Sarasota. The whole area is nice. I need to go back for a visit one of these days. Preferably in the winter

 

You should re-locate....
It's cheaper than Hawaii or Cali.

And I'll be here... I'm buying so no plans to go anywhere for a while yet.

If I did move out of Ohio it would be Florida or Hawaii. Hawaii would have to be when I'm at retirement age for sure, and at this rate I'll be 92

 

Florida is the more sensible answer for sure. Maybe one of these days. I finally became fully self employed and can't walk away from it just yet

 

I could afford a shack in Hawaii with no AC... and probably an out-house if I'm lucky!

You don't need a/c in Hawaii. I lived there for 5 years and never turned mine on. The hottest it gets usually is about 80-85 but there's always an ocean breeze. After living there for a while, you get pussified and will turn the heat on in the car when it's 68 in the morning

 

That and dang I can't remember, I think it's utah, for the Canadian snowbirds...
1/2 of them come here.

 

Out houses are common in the big island. Lol. Most if not all of the water is trucked in to fill tanks for use in the house. Rain water is collected too. Some people won't flush the precious water.

I'd live a little better than that. Yeah I know. Kinda snobby turning down an outhouse havin house in Hawaii. Lol

 

You damned sure need AC here! Trade winds sure! But 94* today and 90% humidity!

 

I'd die without a/c here.
