    Ah, missed that, my fault. I never give 885s the credit of lifting a DC over 2.5" so thought you were referencing 887s.

    Yeah, neither do I but I'm running them right now and love em!! Got about 2.5" like you stated. I was just giving him a basic list, and was going to let Marie take over and get him the specifics, like top plate spacers, etc. to get that 3" out of the lift.

    And just because I was in your boat about a year ago...Here's mine w the 885's (I have Bilstein 5100's though) with 33's, trimming done and CMC. I also got LR UCA's but I'm not 100% sure it was necessary w only getting 2.5" of liftimage.jpg

    Honestly, it's different for every truck. Some people don't have to trim at all, some have to a good bit. I don't have a picture of it, but there is a good chance you'll have to cut off the plastic piece that almost has a little hook to it at the back of the bottom of the fender. Other than that, it should just be trimming the black fender liner. I did a cab mount chop (you can search TW all day for pictures of that) to mine prior to putting my lift and tires on, so I'm not sure if I 100% needed it. LR UCA's are nice to in that you can adjust the caster at the top of the wheel, which allows you to move the tire forward should you rub the cab mount. Sorry about not having pics.
