Let it be said, front hub bearings on a 3rd gen 4Runner/1st gen Tacoma are not something you wanna just dive into.
While it would seem that just pressing the hub flange and beating out are pretty straight forward, you need to figure out how to get it in the press with out screwing up the spindle itself.
Spend the better part of the afternoon fabing a fixture to hold and allow hub to be pressed thru. And doing so with available steel stock on hand.
Oh what fun I've had today in 98° heat !
A new bearing, much larger than expected, pictures don't do it justice.
    image.jpg

Some 4x6 .250" wall scrap I had laying around to make my fixture. There is bracing inside in the ends when flange is inside, used the draw bolts from a HF spring compressor to hold halves together in press.

Cutting the V notch and straight edge cost me a HF grinder, maybe 2, haven't turned the second one back on yet, it was damn hot when I got done with second box.
Some shit about letting the smoke out, that was certainly a problem. For $9.99 ea I wasn't expecting a lot. Pretty much what I got.
    image.jpg

First push got hub out that far, had to procure sim 1/2" bar stock to fit next to hub to push the rest of the way out.
    image.jpg

Pushing actual bearing out of spindle was fun, creative fixturing involved.

Reassembly wasn't terrible, inner bearing dust cover came out while pressing, that got intresting.
