    Hello Forum,

    RIDE HEIGHT ORIGINALLY:
    with stock suspension
    & 265/70r16:
    LF 34.00 RF 34.25
    LR 35.25 RR 35.50

    RIDE HEIGHT NOW:
    with Billstiens @.85,
    '12 OEM 3/1 leafs,
    Wheelers 3 leaf AAL,
    OEM overload leaf,
    & 265/75r16 BFG A/T's:
    LF 36.00 / RF 36.00
    LR 39.00 / RR 39.00

    RIDE HEIGHT (hub to fender)
    LF 21.25 / RF 21.25
    LR 24.25 / RR 24.25

    OEM STEEL WHEEL:
Dimensions:: 16" x 7" with chrome wheel skins.

FYI, I replaced my original 2/1 pack with these 3/1 leafs. It came off a 2012 with 5K miles on them. It took 2 days of rough driving for them to settle and they have been at this height ever since. Very slight shudder between 12 & 22 but it's been like that for a while and no issues.

    Thanks

I lifted the front Billie's to 1.75 from .85. It still has rake which I want. I don't want it level or nose high.

With the 6112's set on the 3rd setting and the full Dakar leaf pack do you think this would have the factory rake to it? I am still trying to decide on the 3rd or 4th notch.
My truck is equipped very similar. Thanks

I would say yes. I forgot to take before measurements. :anonymous: That would have told us what we really need to know.
From the looks of it, right now the front is an inch lower than the rear. I am thinking the rear is going settle out a bit more than the front. Just a gut feeling.
Was thinking about if I needed to switch out the setting and how much of a pita it would be. I think it may be easier to go from high to low than the other way. Not sure if there is a way to do it without having to rip it all apart and get it back on a compressor and all.
Think there has to be a redneck way of doing it.

Keep me posted up with your results/findings.

Thanks....I've been talking with a company who sells the 6112's and they are saying, from the feedback they've got from their customers, that people are getting more lift than indicated on the Bilstein lift chart. I really don't want to put in on the wrong notch and have to go it and change things. I will eventually be adding a Pelfreybilt steel bumper and am undecided whether I'll need upgraded springs for the extra weight.

I will update this thread once things are done....pending I remember to measure.

I got a chance to work the new suspension yesterday a bit.
Gotta say....everything is great. The truck now feels its best the rougher the road gets.
IMO, if you are getting a plate bumper go with the 4th to start with. That will be quite a bit of weight on there and I think it will put you were you will want to be.
Looking at my front end out on some roads yesterday, I am wondering if my superbumps are too long and not giving the front coils enough travel. Will have to talk with Dan from Wheeler's on that.
I think you will be very happy with the 6112s. They are a very well built, well thought out shock.

Going to PM you - trying to keep the BS to a minimum in this thread.
