Hey hey hey!! I put many of invites in for rausch had 2 other guys interested but... weather was going to be too hot for my dog so I changed my plans and went to flagpole.

 

Wasn't able to make a Rausch trip this weekend, but I could have made flagpole

At least you have the option for OT! I got a salary job which is nice in some respects but doesn't give me the option to make extra money!

 

I might be moving to a salary position. I hope i get it. But I guess Ill lose the OT?

On another note, ill be in Leesburg later tonight. Near the station 1 firehouse near downtown

 

yep we have the only legal moonshine distillery. old house vineyard has free live music every friday night.. they've got a pizza oven and now a new section where they make their own rum, vodka, and tequila. then there's the moonshine distillery. a bunch of other winerys and microbreweries. then there's a shop on main street that sells wines and special beers where they even have a beer tasting station damn sounds like we're all a bunch of drunks here but we didn't have alot of this until we had the influx of people from the city

 

Just have to hope it's a non-exempt position or negotiate it into your hiring package. I earn OT at my job and I am salary. I don't work for free.

 

I think it's ultimately the better way to go. For me and my family and just for my career. After the military and then contracting, I was never home and now I have a 4 month old. She's my priority right now so with this job I get weekends, holidays off and that gives me time to invest into her and my fam.

Speaking of good rain, I left my windows down in my Tacoma when I drove to Middleburg in my wife's car yesterday afternoon. Then that huge thunderstorm rolled through and SOAKED my interior. Had to sit on a towel on the way to work this morning so my ass wouldn't get wet. I also saw an awesome Tacoma at the Middleburg fire station - 2nd gen white access cab (I think, may have been a double cab) with a lift, aftermarket wheels and All Pro front bumper.

 

Thanks Ryan! Out of curiousity, do any of you guys run a supercharger on your tacos? I had my eye on them for a little while, but wasn't sure if they are worth doing anymore since Toyota dropped the program back in 2015.
