Not paying over MSRP. I'll wait to year end and buy a '17 OR. Then I'll mod it with the Pro parts I want. I know it won't be a "PRO" for re-sale. But if you pay over MSRP for a '17 PRO, I bet you'll get crushed on the resale too when the '18 PRO's come out.

No better feeling than being right-side-up in a car deal. And nothing feels worse than having "negative equity" in a car.

Agreed with all the above. I found a pro in cement, M/T, and arriving soon, but the dealership wants $49,999+TTL. Yeah, won't be happening unless they want to give me $10k over msrp for my current TRD OR 4x4.

Are these dealers actually as stupid as they think we are. We all just need to start posting Stealership name and locations, I'm almost positive they will appreciate the free advertisement for their ignorance.

I expect a dealer to try to make money. I mean, they aren't charities. But WE are responsible for ourselves. If you let yourself get ripped off, then shame on you. Be your own advocate. Research the car, trade in and financing before you go. But I also wouldn't hesitate to post dealer's name if he even mentioned $49K for a PRO. That's stupid and he deserves to be called on it.

From a Toyota Finance Dealership Rep.

On a 3 year lease. the Residual from Toyota is 70% on a Pro and almost 75% on a '17 TRDOFSBDC.
The lease factor money on Tacoma's, equates to about 4.8% in loan lingo .

    46k Pro= 3yrs, $ 32.2k value
    40k loaded OFF= 3yrs, $ 29.8k value

You can now select a 2017 to 'Build and Price' on Toyota.com. The Pro is now listed as well. It gives you zero options for packages (i.e. tech, towing, moon roof), and does not break down the standard features at all. The photo does not show a moon roof though. Price with a M/T comes to $41,700...Pro.png

    Been under a rock?
On this very website there's guys who own Pros now and yes, you cannot get these with a moonroof.

The RV makes Tacoma an ideal lease vehicle. RV has much bigger effect on monthly payment than rate, although it would be ideal to have that rate under 3%. 75% RV at 3 years is unheard of anywhere else.

Agreed, I looked at a lease option last month on a remaining 016 OR and RV was @ 73%. I've leased a few Acuras when they had a 69% RV and they're publicly known to always be one of the lowest depreciating vehicle in there market. If the Pro is at 70% as @yak13 has stated then I'm plenty pleased regardless if an OR or Sport has an even high RV.

70% GOOD, sub 60's and lower.... BAD!!!
