A.R.E. DCU camper shell for 2009 regular cab. I've had it on my 2014 access cab for the past year and a half and recently upgraded to an A.R.E. MX. It has 2 windoors with locking T-handle latches and tool compartment on passenger side as well as locking T-handle latch on the rear door, aluminum ladder rack, and double bulb seal for the bed rails. $500 O.B.O. Located in Knoxville TN._DSC0654.jpg_DSC0655.jpg_DSC0656.jpg_DSC0657.jpg_DSC0658.jpg_DSC0659.jpg_DSC0660.jpg_DSC0662.jpg_DSC0664.jpg

I want this... only problem is that I'll probably only be near there the weekend of September 9th. Even then only as far as Nashville. :(

Hey OP how are you liking the MX. Currently deciding between the DCU and the MX.

I really liked the utility aspect of the DCU. When I bought it, it had toolboxes on driver and passenger side which didn't leave much room for a platform for 2 to sleep on. I removed the driver side toolbox and loved having access to the more commonly used stuff from the outside of the truck. I also like being able to throw anything up on the rack and not having to really worry about overloading it. With that said I love the looks of the MX so much better, and with the windoors on either side I redesigned my platform so I still have easy access to stuff from the outside. I also built a rack to attach to the factory tracks to carry my kayaks/canoes and random building materials. I'd say if you're wanting something you can put to hard use and don't care about looks then go with the DCU, but the MX actually looks like belongs and for the most part is now just as useful as the DCU.

Wait a minute...you can remove the tool boxes? I ask because I haven't seen one in person but do see the ones with boxes for sale more often than one with windows/windoors.

Oh yeah, the tops are screwed into the main runners on the roof and the bottom slides in between the outer skin that wraps under the bed rail mounts and then riveted together. Just gotta pop those screws out up top and on the sides and drill out some rivets. There might of been some silicone or other sealant holding the bottom part together as well cause I kind of had to persuade it out. I ended up hanging the toolbox up on a wall in my garage for storage when I took it out.
