Earls Ford in Georgia. Closest city is Clayton. It was a nice drive through the country with lots of curvy roads. Cam and I didnt get there til like 930 at night. When I woke up with sunrise, I was even more surprised with how awesome the spot was. Dogs played in the creek and we had a good ol time.

I've been there a lot. My parents live about 2 miles from the other side of the river.

The GA side of Earle's ford is a fun place. When the water is up it can get pretty deep. Last time I was there my buddies f150 on 33s had water on the bottom of the doors..

Nice. @3milecreek was lost on the SC side and we were on the GA side. He ended up making friends with some cowboy and they couldn't find us. @ChamYota now carries around a tree root from the tree that Sutton slaughtered, his name is Groot. Cam will never forget that weekend now that he has Groot. Cam and I almost did the creek crossing at night but wasnt sure how deep it was so we passed and went back to find a campsite. I'm not scared of night crossing the spot now that I've blown through there. Had a blast.

I wanna do HPR as soon as it opens up mid September. We can do a night on HPR on the creek and a night in GA...

No there are camp sites before that. And yes it's a pretty fast moving creek where they're talking about.

We went when the creek was up.. That was our reason for going... To see how deep it was.

Y'all should see the chattooga after the remnants of a tropical storm... It's something you never forget..

We were scheming how to get the trucks out into the river. But I'm sure thats frowned upon. There were too many people and horses there to even think about attempting it. I took a couple cool river rocks while we were out there and they're still in my truck. I just wanna bring a camping chair and plant my butt in the shallows with a cooler of beer. That'd be ideal.

I need camping soon. Fresh air FTW. Mid September cant get here quick enough.

Once I acquire a Softopper, I'm selling my truck tent to Shibby who will complain that its not orange. Damn Tiger fans...

My dad tells me stories of him and his buddies crossing the river back in the 70s. He said they used to park in the river and stay all day.. There's some holes right in there that would make our trucks disappear..
