What does this switch do?

I will admit I had not noticed this switch until this evening.

I went through the manual --- couldn't see anything about it.

The switch on the left with the tire tracks....what does it do?

If you press it you turn your rear differential into a type of limited slip by way of the ABS system monitoring wheel slippage and managing it with the brakes back there.

Works quite well for the most part.

 

I think that If you press it...you turn OFF the ABS limited slip or whatever... I think it's on by default....!
If you want to do a burn out or doughnut... turn it off and see the difference...

 

If you hold it at a stop for a few seconds it disables traction crontrol.

 

Push once quickly turns on auto "LSD". Hold for few seconds it turns off all traction control.

 

If you find a way to do a burnout or doughnut in a tacoma please advise...

 

Have to buy the Tuner to get more horsepower and torque. I have a link if you want one. It adds like 47 more HPs man. Totally legit

Smitty nailed it. Need to do it at a full stop at least to turn off all of it. I know this because I turned mine off to do a rooster tail at my home bar before a league night

 

It gives you rear wheel steering.
