Long Travel BS Thread

    I was still getting tons of dirt into my engine running that setup, a cone and a pre filter. My oil analysis was showing dirt like crazy. A k&n with a pre filter wrap does not even come close to the particle removal that a stock paper filter is capable of.

    So.... The 2ton or the 2.5ton aluminum floor jack from harbor freight. They have the same lift hight.

    got my tires mounted to my rims today! cant wait to have these on the truck.. i can tell once they are on that the truck is gonna need to be re-geared asap lolIMG_3868[1].jpg

    Nice! What size? I plan to pick up some new BFG ATs when the truck is done. Let us know how they work out.
    It's similar to the Trail-Gear Rear Long Trave Suspension Kit you can pick up. They are still working on the setup a bit but it's nice finally seeing the new axle in the truck. Wanted to keep the truck as CA smog legal as possible along with keeping the bed intact while leaving room for an aux tank.

    35/12.5/17 def update how they handle.. gotta wait for the install the of the DTF kit to stick them on though.. they look massive next to the stock trd tires lol

    ya i never liked the glassworks ones either.. i dont like how they just roll off the hood instead of rising up.. looks goofy with TT rears to.. the only think i think that is good about them is i think they are more of a true 6" then the fiberwerx.. but fiberwerx look a ton better
