I agree we have been boning for years the gut less method works great. And it's cleaner too. No since in packing bone and then having to toss them at home I have had some funny looks with a bone sticking out a garbage can :)

"Catcrazed, post: 13010889, member: 56529"]Just Google and YouTube Gutless method and some other quick searches.
But basically laying on its side you skin each leg down to the socket. We'll the front legs don't have sockets so they come off easy. The rear you have to find the ball and pop it out.
Then start mid rib cage and skin to the spine and cut the back strap off.
Skin the neck up and cut that off. Roll over and repeat.
Leave the head for last cause that's what you use to roll it. In Oregon we have to have eyes and ears attached or the sex organs. So we usually cut it off as close to skull as we can.
Then if your in a real shit whole packout. Lay the quarters out and follow the mussel lines and cut the bone out. It helps if you have some small game bags as it's a little harder to tie on w no bone. I'm gonna be using the carnivore bags by caribou this yr.
Honestly unless it's really close or bad weather I'm never packing bone again. Except for what's on the head lol.[/QUOTE]

My 2010 Tacoma fit my little forked horn from last year just fine.
Fits ducks and geese in the back of just fine lol
And I'd think if I crammed this lil 4 point in the back of my FJ, then the dcsb won't have a problem with a bigger buck or an elk.

I missed the big day- there were 10 guys, all limited in under 2 hours. 50 geese. That's like 750lbs of birds, lol.

Damn son, you got about the worth of my Tacoma in hunting clothes alone! And people say they hunt to save money on groceries haha. The only way I was able to afford those digs was a law enforcement adventure webpage that offered up 50% off them. The new Timber duck pattern is in the mail!

Hahaha, luckily the industry I work in allows me to have nice things lol. Still the best camo I've ever owned. And the only camo I will buy. Open country for big game and sitka waterfowl for tricking the birds. I do like the new timber pattern alot! It will make its way to me before October I'm sure of it haha.

I'm a rifle tech at Nosler Bullets Inc.

I'm a hunter and competitive shooter and firearms instructor who reloads with noslers. It's a pain to find bullets when I load my .338 win mag.

Try looking at " the pro shooter shop" online. It's the Nosler web store thing. Or give Nosler show room a call and you should be able to order and have shipped straight from there.

Oh shiotttt... I just realized this was a short bed thread only. I have a long bed. I'm not supposed to post in here...

I went from a 3/4 ton truck with an 8' bed to the Tacoma. In my mind that's a 'short bed'- does that count? :)
