Good Catch OZ-T. You are The Source.

Man, I don't know crap on how to put this together. I majority of the lift is for aesthetics (I am thinking 2 inches, to minimize on potential issues and keep it simple). However, I don't want to compromise the ride quality by getting blocks. I am putting around 80 miles on it everyday. I plan to drive the truck for a decade. I got 340,000 out of my 2000 and would love to do the same with the 2012.

My off-road driving consists of roads to hiking trailheads, backcountry, and put-ins for the kayak type stuff. Other than that it is ice and snow covered roads in the mountains.

As you can see, I have the camper with a roof rack. I also have a sleeper in back and load it down with gear a few times each year for week long trips (kayaking, climbing, skiing). The camper is the Hotel Tacoma and it stays equipped with the basic camping essentials.

What do I need for the 2012?

Question. I've out in an order with Pelfreybilt for a full set up. Full hoop aluminum plate bumper, skids, and hi clearence rear bumper with swingout. I'm installing an OME hi limit suspension but I'm curious. Are 886 coils too much/overkill? The total weight of the front bumper, IFS skid, and mid skid is 119 pounds. I won't be adding a winch for quite some time. The suspension is coming from a friend and he has 886's as part of the coilover. Should I slap on/replace with 885s or perhaps an icon 650# spring with aluminum armor? Thank you in advance for any helpful advice/opinions.

Note: I also have sliders that at 100# for the pair and will be adding an aluminum rear transfer skid as well.

What coils are you using on your setup 884 or 885?

How much lift did the 885s give you? I'm trying to decide between 884 and 885s

Did you remove the 3rd leaf on the Dakars? I just ordered the same kit last week. How does it ride?
