Bumper was hit backing up so chrome paint pop up and 1st owner didn't take care.
Now looking for solutions on how to fix it to prevent a search for another bumper?
    My none-experience plan is:
    1. remove all rusted chrome as much possible to clean metal
    2. then rust encapsurator chasis saver paint black
    3. fill up and level with J&B as filler.
    4. then black rustoleom bedliner paint the square base area around.

Can you share any better ideas ?

Amazon has a bunch of different kinds, thats where I got this one. The mounting brackets are flimsy so I made my own, and I got better hose than what came with it.

Having a problem with my passenger front window today, it will roll down and up but only a little at a time, it acts like there's a capacitor in the assembly that has to charge up to keep the motor moving.
It'll move some and then stop, if I let it sit for a minute or two it'll move some more.

None of the connections that I found are loose and the voltage on the battery is good.

Installed a Smittybilt compact Defender roof rack on my truck over the weekend :dancingbacon:

Had to drill 8 half inch holes into the sheet metal of the roof to mount the well-nuts that attach to the mounting brackets...talk about nerve wracking.

It's a terrifying feel right? lol. Especially when you go to line the rack up to the holes you just drilled, praying it works.

I messed up one of the 8 holes though, when I was drilling I didn't keep a tight grip on the drill for a split second and the 1/2" bit caught on the metal and twisted the drill in my hand, screwing up the hole :( My heart dropped when it happened. Fortunately it wasn't TOO bad, I was able to trim the haggard edges a bit and smooth it out. I sealed up every hole with silicone around the well nuts just to be sure they don't let any water leak through, that's the only one I'm really worried about though...

It was but after you get one down there no going back. We lined up my rack used a punch and a marker to get the hole started. Plus my rack can slide for adjustments so as long as the hole was in the slot I was good. It looks dead on to me tho

I have seen so many bumpers bent up and rusted in that exact spot. Mine is as well.....I just don't care enough to do anything about it. It's an old truck

originally I was gunna go with 2 10's (which is possible) but the cone of the sub would hit the back of the seat and possibly tear it. so I went with 4 pioneer 150 rms subs across the whole back behind the rear seats . all together pushing a little over 700 watts. I can post pics when I get home

Major late to the camper party, but I FINALLY found (and instantly bought upon inspection) a SnugTop camper for my boy. Fortuitously enough, the color was a perfect match, condition was VERY good, has the roof racks, carpet interior is near perfect, AND it came with the keys. Just needs an adjustment on one striker as well as tightening of the latch release mechanism. It was also missing three of the interior tie-down hooks on the passenger side but still had one good one. Purchased two deep-C clamps from a local dealer and it works perfect. This thing ain't flying off any time soon. Now to wire the brake and interior lights!

Here he is, before it was washed.

And a close-up. Looks even better when washed :D

Sounds like you know your audio. In that case, a little Q for you: when I bought my ride, it had a lot of audio stuff already set up but I'm still trying to figure out how everything correlates to one another and if I should be aware of anything. Mind lending a little advice?

I'll see if my father can get a pic for me. Install is pretty damn clean, but I'd just like to confirm that my understanding of how it's set up is correct.

No sub, but it's wired (I can see the wire sticking out from under the seat). If memory serves, there are two amps (maybe one pre-amp and one amp). Honestly, I can't remember what's back there but am working on getting pics. Stereo is a Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS (acquired by me). I haven't removed the door panels yet, but it's possible the speakers may also be aftermarket; if not, still stock. I actually just need to get myself time to put some Dynamat into the doors.
