Auto because DCLB only comes in Auto. Ordered 04/23/16 and was planning for a 2016. Instead a 2017 which is nice.

I was about to sign on the dotted line with a 2016 sierra all terrain but backed out after hearing of more transmission problems with the 8 speed. Went with the 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport for now because of Toyota's reliability...hoping I made the right choice!

They have an 8 speed now holy hell, is that the same one ford is sharing with them? I know my 14 had a 6 speed and it was a bit too jumpy for my liking.

I was expecting a long wait for the truck anyway. I have the price set at $100 above what was 2016 invoice. As long as they don't raise the price that we agreed to because MSRP increased, I'll be very happy and won't need any free upgrades, but it wouldn't hurt!

Stopped at my local dealership Sat night and they had about 10 2017s on the lot. No Pro though...
From what I remember, all DC TRDs had the power rear slider, but no blacked out headlights, even though they specifically say "headlights with black bezel" on the window sheet.
It's easy to spot the power rear slider because there is no exterior weatherstripping around the center section of the window.

Noticed online that the 2017 SR5s are pictured with the steel wheels from 2016 and there wasn't an option to upgrade to alloy. Confirmed with a couple dealerships that the SR5 will have the 16" alloy wheels as standard equipment and the SRs will have steel rims. I assume that is part of the reason for the price increase too. (Not sure if that has been brought up in this thread but something I was curious about).

The list price was just over $32,000. The included the performance package with black interior, towing, navigation, and sonar. After $5,000 trade in, taxes and fees, and extended warranty, total out the door was $31,473.

I'm still waiting on the dealer to get back with my about my build date. Deposit made and agreement was signed a week ago Monday. I have a feeling I'm going to hear from him and then the car is going to show up the same week.. Hearing about all of these 2017 orders already arriving.

You can still get it , it's option code (BZ) I have a 2017 on the way with it. Try a different zip code online in the toyota builder.

Well, heard from the dealer on my 2017 order and they said "it wasn't in this allocation, maybe beginning of September". So I'm waiting a few more weeks just to know if/when my truck will be built. I have a suspicion that this could continue for some time.

The way that Toyota does their ordering is odd. I'm now reading about people's experiences with the 2016 orders and it sounds like I just have to wait until Toyota gets around to building a truck with my specs and then hope it is allocated to my dealer.
