Well, I decided today would be the day to get the ball rolling on this. My goal was to get the radiator out, timing belt ready for removal, intake manifold off, and valve covers removed. I don't have the needed tool(s) to remove the crank pulley, so that'll have to wait until tomorrow. Other than that, made pretty good progress. Not bad for about 3-4 hours of work (at a snails pace).

Tomorrow I want to get the exhaust manifolds separated, crank pulley off, water pump removed, and new water pump installed.

    Are floor mats a mod?
Spent the last 4 days around the Mt Adams Wallupt Lake area. Very pretty, but not a lot of truck trails. My buddy's Jeep clutch cyl died so had to go 20 mi of dirt to Packwood for another. Lucky I brought tools. Did 1 short trail, was no big deal but pretty view. Unmarked like all the trails out there. Didn't even bother with pics...
Then one of my buddy's 2 month old front U joints died and spat out all the pins in my driveway when we got home!

Did you mess around with it some more? Or show that write-up to the dealer?

I reset it a few more times and took it for a drive, seems to be good so far, 40 miles and no light

I also think they were bullshitting me when they said they reset my computers unless they turned the seatbelt chime back off and reloaded my trip odometer reading

That'd reset my trip odometer though, I think they let it sit in the parking lot for s week and maybe scanned it for DTC's
