Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Just hold onto those extra bottles of ATF. In a few months, do another drain & fill on it to cycle out more of the old stuff.

    I like it haha

ALSO, my xmsn fill plug was a PAIN to get out, almost stripped it after 2 attempts.

What solved it for me was taking compressed air with that trigger nozzle and blowing A TON of dried mud/debris from around the plug (look away and close eyes, or youll regret it). once I got all the crap from the back side of the bolt, the 24mm closed side wrench fit on perfectly around, never slipping and only took a little effort to turn. the tq spec is like 24 or 29 ft/lbs so its not on there too tight. there is also a rubber gasket/o ring on there too so dont forget that. the tq for the overflow plug and drain plug are like 14 ft/lb. the overfill is a 5mm allen and the drain is a 14mm bolt.

and as I type this, i realize you longer have the 2nd gen....but its too much info to go back and erase..plus it may help me next time I go to do it again haha.

So considering I've met some of you personally and wheeled with a few as well. Figured you could be good to ask. I'm looking to move that general area(i.e. tennesee, N. Georgia, W. North carolina). Any good areas to look at?(firefighter by profession) Don't necessarily want to be in the mountains, close though. But still want at least a couple acres and a decent little house. 1400 square ft or so. Was looking around helen GA or Cleveland TN, and Cleveland GA. Any other places I should look around?
Sorry for the long message, thanks for any replies

FYI, theres a softopper listed for $200 on the Knoxville craigslist. Dude says its a short bed in the ad but after talking to him, seems its a long bed. Just throwing it out there in case anyone's looking.

@Kerleyfries you want to go take a look at this for me? Also says it's for a 99, so not sure if compatible.

    From the last email:
The rails that run along the top of the truck bed are 73". So I'd say it's a 6 foot kit.

Bruh. Thats not a short bed. Whys he gotta be playing with my emotions like that?! I can find LB bestop and softoppers all day. Saw one for less than $200 in Savannah recently. Its okay though, I'm picking my DCSBFTMFW Softopper in early October, nearly new. :)

Well that's dumb. @Kerleyfries cancel that request for me. @rngr might be interested though. I'm still hoping for the Softopper group buy to go through.

$200? Was it black? Mine is tan/brown. I need black eventually, just to match better
