What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I know my front brackets weren't the best match um but I got mine done in like an hour. That's so weird yours took that long and it was that off. Toyota needs to fix that

Finished up with the bushwhacked bolts, color matched the window washer fluid sprayers on the hood and cut the antenna down to size, used an end off a bungee cord to cap it off.

 

Same in MN. And we can't have a strip on the windshield at all. Thought I might run over to ND one day and have one applied. I'll frack it up if I try to do it.

 

Hoping to get my Bussman fuse box installed in the next couple days, got the cab switch harness done with 2 extra power circuits.



and need to get the LR UCAs and new coil springs installed...

Expensive week already!

 

Replaced the rear shocks and attempted to replace the receiver hitch as it is a mess and I just got my frame replaced, got to the last bolt and broker every socket wrench I have trying to get it loose, tomorrow is a new day.

Nothing but great things BUT they're heavy as shit (63 lbs) and I'm not a huge fan of the tread design

Cooper MTP-
Look bad ass, are lighter (56 lbs) but I'm worried they'll wear quickly and won't get a lot of life

Wrangler Duratracs-
Very popular tires with great reviews, also lighter (54 lbs). Not as aggressive as the MTPs. This is my front runner right now.

Nahhh, those aren't even in the running. Discount tire doesn't sell them, and they're the best priced IMO

 

When I got DuraTracs for my old truck, best price was at Sam's Club. So if you have a membership to any of those big whole-sale type stores check out their tire prices. Tirerack.com also seems to have them for pretty cheap (relatively, of course)
