No, I wanted to and Jace didn't think it was necessary. Not sure now though haha.

I am going to have to take apart and put back together my CVs with new boots. Lower the preload on CO's, and maybe adjust the limit straps as well.

Ouch, and those are your fancy expensive aftermarket CV's aren't they?

My drivers side outer CV boot has been blown completely open for almost a year now. I don't think I've ever procrastinated something more in my life haha

A small handful of select mods.
Noah do you think it is from the fins touching and wearing out or the overall travel of your suspension that cause the boots to tear? Lowering the preload might keep the fins from touching as much but if the boot tore due to binding the only thing that will fix that is a limit strap.

My money is on Spicy taking over for Brett. Think the over/under is 6 months (Valentine's day to be exact).

I went through like 3 in a couple months once. The last one I decided I'd leave until it started making noise. 2 years later it still never made noise LOL and I just replaced it while in there doing something else haha

are you trying to say there are aftermarket CVs (especially w LT) that aren't fancy and expensive?

That is completely besides the point haha. But thanks for your .02 cents

I think it is definitely more because I didn't have it strapped enough...
But also I want to lower the CO's a little bit too and make the angles a little better, see if that helps. The axles look fine but the boots are torn to shit.

I wanted to post here, my experiences with InSain Fab and Corey. The last messages I sent to him were on July 27, and I haven't heard from him since. The final message informed him that it's up to him on the time and method to resolve my issue.

My upper rear shock mounts hit the shocks, even after being trimmed. I initially received the truck with the shock bodies supporting the weight of the truck, and gouges in the shock bodies. The rear suspension was never cycled, even though I was told it was.

The cab mount chop, which Corey says he's done hundreds (he might of said a thousand) times, is left with a jagged edge for the tire to catch... which it does.

He essentially refused to move my shackle flip, which would've corrected my shackle angle. I ended up doing it at home in 30 minutes.

All together my time is valuable, and I don't have time to travel to his shop and check up on his work; I expect it to be done to a certain level and done right the first time. His shop is about 30 minutes out of my way, one way, I consider it a waste of my time and effort at this point. If he cannot call me, text me, or message me on Facebook, I'm going to chalk this one up as a loss and a lesson learned.

TL;DR, if you like waiting a long time with no contact or returned calls, and then receive work that isn't 100%, then you should do business with InSain Fab... or just don't do business with him at all.

    Edit:

I'm now working with Corey on resolving this issue. I can say that all of my issues are due to lack of communication, both while waiting on the work to be completed with no status updates, and then afterwards trying to get my issues resolved.

I admit that I have little patience left and will not accept the lack of communication any longer. I won't post on these forums asking for someone else to track him down, or call or text his friends to relay messages for me. I also understand that by making that choice I'll make the situation worse on my self.

I feel let down. I feel like I'm missing out on something, with all of the good experiences others have had and shared, to the point that it feels personal.

If I'm responsible for the direction my truck took, then Id expect to be brought in for key design choices and decisions before they were done, so I can dictate their direction, not after the fact to deal with the issues.

The lack of communication drove me to this point, which broke my willingness to be any more patient than I've already been.
