I don't mind the loss of mpg and power. Sucks but comes with the territory of lifting and big tires. IDK though kinda wanted some mud terrains. we will see what happens.

I don't think you can? There's usually a year/mileage limit iirc, along with multiple occurrences of the same problem.

A buddy of mine was somewhat successful with one, but it cost him a lot of $$ with an attorney and several months to get anywhere. (Jeep Cherokee)

Yesterday I rode my mountain bike at Tokul and floated the Snoqualmie.

I need to move out of the city.

I rarely float from the falls to fall city. Usually just from fall city to the stretch of river that the family owns

The gf today said her old man decided against selling one of his pieces of land with a house on it and may possibly give it to her. If so, we might move to Williams, OR. It won't be any time soon as my daughter is only 7 and her mom and I have split custody and there's no way I could ever leave her until she turns 18..maybe 17. It's a ways away, but still something I look forward to.

So heres one for you guys.....anyone ever had a "stuck" wheel cylinder and been able to get it apart? 3 out my 4 (from my FJ40 not the tacoma mind you) came apart just fine. But the fourth which was stuck even when applying brake pressure wont come apart. Had it soaking in my parts washer solution for 2-3 days now and still cant get it apart. Both the adjuster and the piston sides are stuck. Its got a pretty nice layer of surface rust one it and based on the others im sure its slightly rusted inside as well which is holding it together. Any ideas? Luckily a new one is only ~45 bucks but I already have a rebuild kit so be nice ot just use this one.

50% ATF and 50% acetone. Put it in a metal can (no plastic), shake well to mix, and apply liberally. Best stuff there is for penetrating and loosening stuck parts.

Ive tried basically that. Think it was more like 75% atf though . Worked great on the bleeder valve that was stuck and the screw holding the clip thingy on. Problem is since its rusted inside and the rust seems to be holding it together there the mixture doesnt seem to penetrate enough. Which sort of makes sense the only way to get fluid there is through the removed bleeder/banjo fitting and then the internals have rubber "boots" to make a seal for the brake fluid.

No more taco life for me
been planning to do WABDR or ORBDR the first week of September

I don't like how scattered ORBDR is, and WABDR has a lot more updates available.

Thinking WABDR will be my route.
(not to mention a $15 dollar map vs $150 wtf)
Right now it's just me, the gal, my pup, and possibly my kid brother in his truck going. Anyone is welcome to join, easy trails, just looking to get out and camp a bit.
