Looking at the 2017 Tacoma they are offering 2 extra grille choices at $400 each, a pop-a-lock for the tailgate for $260, some black overlays for badges at $300, an interior/exterior led package at $350, chrome tailgate inserts at $100 and led fog lights for $400. Don't see too much to get excited about. I guess they want some of that aftermarket money too.

Yup. Back to factory spec. They were super apologetic and said that the tech was new. They asked me all about the lift and were pretty interested. Truck rides great. A little stiffer than before but not much.

They told me the 17's weren't even out but when they did the search for what i wanted it came up. They were shocked. As was I.

I know they said it was 200+ miles from here.

I have the X-Act Contour after trying to like the OEMs for the first 2 months I owned my truck and I'm happy. The Husky mats are nice but slippery under the sole. I don't like the way the WeatherTech liners look but would buy their mat if it wasn't cut to fit. I had a set from them years ago that weree heavy and custom fit for an RX300 and they were solid.

I looked at the Southeast region and there are quite a few coming between now and late September. Just like last year Virginia will get slim pickings for the first few months. I would like a set of the new 2017 Tacoma led fog lights but who knows how much the parts dept will sell them for. After nearly 8 months I am very happy with my 16 now that all the new model issues have been fixed. I do wish I would have waited for 2017's so the bugs would hopefully be worked out. When I started looking last September I searched from here to Florida to Texas with no success. Dealers here would not look beyond the mid-atlantic region. After 3 months I turned my search up north and found exactly what I wanted-well I did want inferno but blue is great too. I wanted the Sport because the SR5 access cab rwd was basically the same price with the options. Plus I got the push button start and hood scoop. Not to mention my big azz shiny grille which I do like. You still have time to hide your cash in a cd before the mods take it all away. I would strongly recommend a set of Clazzio leather seat covers. Best mod for the money. Good luck and welcome to the club.

just got the A.R.E Z series canopy color seems to slightly darker and noticeable in specific lighting conditions, i gave them the paint code and the guys came out took my vin and everything they needed but A.R.E still managed to mess things up. Along with putting Rivets to hold the hydraulics on of which caused the inside window trim some minor damage. Im about to get this thing taken off so A.R.E can figure there crap out.

Shouldn't A.R.E. be making their cap fit the Tacoma not Toyota make a truck to fit an A.R.E. cap?? You might as well blame Toyota for not matching the color of the cap.

That hole has nothing to do with the cap, it's the front corners of the bed all tacomas have em, a lot of people don't notice it till they get a canopy. Also if you look at the picture the canopy starts at carpet.

Any good installer would know that that gap exists and make an effort to fill it.

I realize this is perhaps like comparing apples and oranges but this is my second A.R.E product and both perfect fits and no leaks.

My tonneau came with foam seals to fill those gaps before putting the cover on. They did a lot for closing that off.
