so assume 8-5 at job site, that's getting up at 5am, leaving before 6am, drive 2+ hours, work 8 hours with mandatory hour of breaks (lunch, etc), drive 2+ hours, and get home after 7pm exhausted, eat, chill an hour with the kid, sleep 8 and repeat? meh.

Start time is 6:30, but tucking my little girl into bed is worth it, and it's only a few days.

do watch out, US101 in Marin is mostly a 55 limit til you're past San Rafael, and the CHP seem to LOVE to tag people going 65ish.

Negative. I have a Relentless skid set. No problem accessing the drain plug.

Thought of having an access panel made in the future for access to a swaybar disconnect coupling. Still waiting for Iggycorp to offer one...

    image.jpg image.jpg

    Or maybe adapt this:
    image.jpg

Everyone who has taken their swaybars off seems to be fine, but worried about it with the camper. Plus, I really like smoking tailgaters in the turns. Not because I'm fast- most people on the road just suck at driving.

The 4.7 isn't that bad though, so much better than the 3.4 or 22RE.

Ummm with a commute that far if your not getting up till 5 I'm pretty sure your gonna be late. Traffic has gotten so bad most of the freeways are already backed up by 5:30.

Yeah that would be a pain. Still rocking the factory tin foil, so it's easy for me. I really need to get some kind of real protection down there. My oil pan is just sitting there open to the road/debris.

With start time at 6:30, I'll be out the door by 4 at the very latest. I'm extremely ocd about being early.

The last one looks awesome! I wonder if splitting them would work on our trucks? I know the reason why you just can't disconnect them on ours is the because of the angle and placement of the sway bar will bind up the suspension and puncture the CV axel. I'd run a sway bar again if it was something like that.

If you went with the first design, and added that locking spring pin, or two pins instead of the bolts & nuts, it looks actually possible. Add collars to the inside of the swaybar mounts to keep each side from slipping apart.

    image.jpg

It could be mounted off- set so you could just reach in there and pull the pins.

Swaybar would be cut around here and spin inside the sleeve.

    image.jpg

    You can do it!
