You can get AT-3's in C load. There is no lighter load than P. P is the bottom of the barrell. OP, the AT3 has done great for me in that size. Mud has not been a problem and clean out pretty well. But obviously not as well as a mud terrain. Duratracs can also be difficult to balance.

There are different loads (ratings). P is lightest (stock) then C, then E (Heaviest tire) Go with a C load and you will see minimal drop in mpg with a bigger tire.

Thanks for the input. That's exactly what I was thinking would happen. Hopefully Toyota will come out with a fix for the vibration a lot of us experience. Until then, I think I'll stay with the stock size tire, just more aggressive tread pattern. That should minimize any changes.

Ha, how'd you know I've been dieting! :). Good thing I'm only about 170 lbs! I did add a tonneau cover but I'm trying to improve off road capabilities. I added rock sliders which added about 130 lbs to the truck. That's the only real additional weight I carry.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards the AT3s..... Still 90% of my driving I'll be on road.

I've been waffling between P and C. I like P because it's the lightest, but I want C for a little stronger sidewall when I air down. Still haven't decided. Everything is a trade off.....
