I only have a t3i but I spent 1500 in lenses. I plan on upgrading to a full frame as I get better.

Good plan. Bodies get upgraded every few years. Good glass will last you much much longer.

:annoyed:Gaaaaaaaaaaaah! There is shit for room behind the dash on these damn trucks. There simply isn't enough room for a double din head unit along with the jbl converter. :infantry::infantry::infantry:

I don't know how I got it all in there before.

Dude, shit! Wife has 7 D,and 5, yes, 5 ef lenses. Plus about 3 others.
It's her Taco. Every time I buy something for the truck, she buys a lens. Or a $300 spherical filter. She just got a ef 70-300. For something like 2600. Payback for my new suspension. I keep telling her it's not a competition, but.....

Just made a song for Johns Jeep....
    Ehemmm...

    Please fix my Jeep,
    My achey breaky Jeep,
I tried to go off-road, and it let me down,
    Please go get me parts,
    To fix my broken heart,
It's only 20 miles back into town..

After the clutch master fix off road, it ate the driver side outer U joint about a block from my house.
Turned out the u joint boss on the outer shaft got crushed out of round and spat out the bearings.
Lucky he has the week off, cuz no one had a non ABS outer shaft in stock.

    Edit
Taco made the trip 4 times and still lives!

As an unbiased Tacoma and Jeep owner, I think it's fair to say that both have their quirks and problem areas. And much of it comes down to how the rig was used and maintained (or not).:spy:

    So... You mean yesterday.
    And last Tuesday.
    Repeat...

Seriously, she make her own money, and a lot more than me, so more power to her!
    Whatever makes her happy.

    Happy wife = happy life.

So my bud bought this 1992 sport for $2k, 4 banger with 160k on it. He liked driving it, so replaced all the drive bearings, including the u joints, added bumpers, which, etc.., and has been driving it for a few months. This is the 1st time for off road camping, so some stuff broke. Old Jeep, stuff happens.
BUT, it's so fun to pile on! If you can't kick your friends when they are down, who can you kick?
Plus, his truck is dripping gear oil on my garage floor, so I have rights.:D

Haha well I was dating this girl named Hannah for 2 years, ended right before I joined TW. Then after that I dated Alexis for a few months from Western until she expected me to pay for a trip to the Virgin Islands for Christmas. Then most recently I was going to date Katie, who I went to high school with, this summer but her dad is batshit crazy and way to over protective. Also both her parents are pastors and she isn't the stereotypical pastors daughter. And unfortunately she's the only one i've been close to dating/dating that actually enjoys wheeling and adventuring

This one. Do it. Serious possibilities in a story like this.

Well, that was a departure from the conversation regarding spending too much money on your truck.

I was planning on adding a vhf radio in the dash and the only way I'm able to do it is by going to a single din unit
