    the best money my parents have ever spent. snow blowers are soooo nice and save ALOT of back ache and not to mention time (which none of us hardly have anyways) is that the one that self propels itself? looks like it.. we have the basic craftsman one... it gets the job done

    Yup. Self propelled with power steering. (Yellow triggers on each handle disengage the wheel on that side so the other one can drive it in that direction.) I've only seen one other with "power steering" or "zero turn" (as it's called on this one) on 1 other model so far, and that one was $300 more at Lowes. Got that one for $799 at Tractor Supply. The steering option makes it soooo much easier to keep it go straight, not to mention turning it! :D

    NICE! yeh i kinda wish ours had that feature. my driveway is fairly steep and i usually make a few passes to find the edge of the driveway going up and down the driveway and the thing always gets turned a little sideways or gets going WAY to fast. the other day there was a little bit of ice under the snow and the thing just pulled me down the driveway. im sure with the thing being so big and heavy though its worth having the extra options.

    Our driveway is flat and the machine is fairly light, but my wife has had 2 back surgeries so I didn't want her throwing her back out yanking the machine around. We're also pressed for time, so anything that makes it faster.... :D
