More wildlife than I can think to recall, glaciers that melted into giant blue lakes, skys that were half blue and half black with rain falling in sheets, and sat at a campfire at 3 am with the sun still up, even crossed the road before a small forest fire leapt over. I felt dwarfed by everything, I have such a big spot in my heart for that trip.

I left Seattle, up through banf/jasper, up through Alberta into Saskatchewan, then through the Yukon up to Dawson city and into Alaska via the top of the world highway to Fairbanks. Even heading back home down the casiar highway which ended up being the short leg of the trip was more than I can describe.

Add to that heading up from California, maybe up the 101 or through the sierras, that's a once in a lifetime trip, amazing

Would 16x9 Offset 10 Rims fit without making the tire rub on UCA?

Probably not... you would need -10mm offset on a 9 wide to keep the same distance from the uca as stock.

Really close to stock, but here's my 98 in its natural environment.

It was basically stock at the time, it was great, think that's where my affection grew for it because of how well suited it was- not huge and clunky like the rv's trying to pull hills, not small and vulnerable to wildlife like motorcycles and being beat up by the rough roads.

For instance, took a leg of dirt road after the sign post forest where I started behind a guy and girl on a dual sport bmw and they had to stand up for like 100 miles of potholes and rain showers. They rolled into the campground like an hour and a half after us where we'd already cooked, cleaned up and set up camp, felt for them to say the least.

Got the best mileage I've ever gotten out of the truck too, 22 mpg after rolling 50 mph for 300 miles.

Bring your bug spray, the mosquitos and horseflies are no joke

Man that's awesome. I think I'm going to rebuild the engine and transmission first though.
Is there pretty steep hills? My truck sticks at steep hills

you know it! they sit perfect up against and i drilled holes on the bottoms of the rear flares/fenders because it looks like there would be a hole there to secure the flare more...i will get a pic, its hard to explain lol
