If you guys built a high clearance bumper for the 2016s with a swingarm tire mount, fold down camp table, etc, I would be all over that.

 

We sell the 2016 high clearance rear already but its not on the website yet. We will be finishing the design for the gate and hopefully releasing it before the end of this year.

I received my aluminum front plate bumper a few weeks ago after a 3 month wait and I must say that it was totally worth the wait! I always get compliments about how my front end looks on my rig! Keep in mind that I'm from Guam so that's probably why it took so long to get here but I was one happy camper after I installed it and wired up my Baja lights.

 

Also your customer service was superb when I had questions about install. Answered all my emails almost instantly no matter of the time zone difference...

 

We do what we can for the family! Truck looks great man! really digging the black on black.

How about making a template to cut the inner fenders since everyone who install one of your front plate bumpers has to modify theirs?

 

Every aftermarket bumper will require you to cut the inner fender well. I haven't seen a template but that's a good idea. Most people however just cut them where they feel best, as i have helped install a ton of bumpers, and everyone has a different idea on how to re-attach them or not. I will look into adding something to the instructions though!

 

you can always tuck them into the bumper... but strong winds sometimes change that

 

Yup and many have done this zip tying them to a support. It just seems that given a choice to either cut it or stuff it should be an option and a template by Pelfreybuilt and/or integrated tie downs would be a nice touch.

 

If I was to change any part of any of yalls products, the ONLY thing I can think of is that it would be nice to have an option for a double row light bar cutout on the plate bumpers! I personally am not a fan of single row light bars; now this definitely won't be a deal breaker, but it'd be a nice option to have!

 

I assume if you found the best way and made a template for it you've done your part and the customer has the option to either follow it or make their own modification but having that starting point would be very helpful.

 

You shouldn't tie the bumpers into the inner fender as the body and the frame/bumper flex separate of one another. This could cause the fender to be ripped out. Most people cut it and either leave it or self tap it or zip tie it and that has worked out pretty well. Personally I completely removed (the truck did) all the inner fender well lining and have had no issues.

 

The design of our bumpers does not allow for a dual row light bar because that would remove too much metal from the front of the bumper and would weaken it in that area. I have seen other bumpers modified to use a dual row light bar but they were much bulkier and had the extra room!
