Finally got these in the truck, used a FJ aux switch in the cab.

As previously mentioned make sure your templates print at 100%, mine did not on first print. You can see top template is smaller than the one on the bottom.

Drilled holes per template and lights fit very well.

Kit comes with enough wire for a semi truck, I ran mine up drivers side and in through large rubber plug.

Plenty of light, these shots were not in complete darkness.

Did you wire them straight to the switch or do you have them coming on and off when you open the door as well?

Straight to the switch, 12v hot (no key needed). I have the electric pop n lock installed also switched in the cab so I already have to go there to get into the bed. I used the FJ switch as it illuminates when lights are on so I don't forget to turn them off.

These have been in my Amazon wish list for awhile, I forgot about them until I saw this thread. How many did you install?

4 wouldn't fit at the back of the bed. I guess you could put 2 farther forward. The 2 in the back is plenty for me, I can see all the way to the front of my long bed.

The front corners of the bed are very flat compared to where these mount in the back corners. Not sure how the angle of the light assembly would fit up front. I'm installing these into my brother in laws truck tomorrow, I will try to remember to snap a few pictures holding the light at the front.

I mounted 4 of them in my bed, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. I had the LED strip under the bed rails but it kept coming loose, so I opted to replace them with the these. They are connect directly to 12v using the existing wire harness from the LED strips.DSCN4295.jpg DSCN4294.jpgDSCN4293.jpg

My install in still in progress, I just ordered a push button switch to install just waiting on it in the mail. Can't wait to have this scratched off my mod list. Looks like these are a great combination of both OEM style quality and aftermarket ingenuity.

I didn't see the power rating of these listed anywhere so last night I took a quick measurement when I verified the lights worked before starting the installation.
Each light draws ~60mA at 11.98Vdc (output voltage of my wall wart supply) so ~750mW per light (1.5W for the set). Definitely no issues running these directly through a 3A switch.
Last night I got the lights mounted in the bed and ran the wires into the cab. Now only if the switch I ordered on Tuesday arrives today then I can complete my first mod to the truck.

How did your install go and seeing the bed sides are flat, unlike where mounted on a Tundra, does it still light up the whole bed, all the way to the front?

Thanks! I have the LED bed strips too and they are crapping out on me. Was wondering if I could use the existing switch and wiring to run this bed lights and your ran two sets even better.
