This is all fine and great if day use is not sold out.
They said it's like a movie theater only a certain amount of entry tickets are sold.
With my set up with bikes and everything and other people with me with bikes and camping stuff don't think leaving my truck somewhere is a good idea.
And not having the truck at camp to use at my convenience would be stupid.
Day use ticket holders must exit by 11 if the tide doesn't hold email from exiting.

 

Never heard of Day use selling out. Maybe on Holiday weekends. I went at like 2 pm on a weekend and was fine to enter. It was packed inside.

 

Totally understandable bro!Yes you'd or we'd for example would have to leave our trucks overnight after 11,have someone pick us up and then we'd be able to bring our trucks back in the following morning!

 

I can't remember what she called it but this is a holiday weekend for something like for churchgoers or something like that and that's why it's sold out everywhere, I've not heard of Pismo ever being out of day passes myself by the Ranger says it happens on Holiday weekends like you said.

That's why it's a 50/50 thing.
There is a lake about 15min up into the mountains that has plenty of open space for tent camping but if day use sells out we would be fucked.
