Problems!

Anyone else experience an error on the dash..gas and brake depressed same time Also a brake malfunction override light and loses all power to engine? Wtf 7000 miles...of course dealer unable to replicate the problem

Confused with what?

 

Did your vehicle get towed to the dealer? What is your location, and conditions when you had the failure? Were you towing? Just trying to get as much information as we can since we have had 15 other 3rd gen owners stranded with similiar failures. Although I will say we are getting more frequent failures recently as we are balls deep into the summer heat.

 

Yes towed in to the dealer...been 4 days still no answers

are you guys serious? remember the lexus' that couldnt stop? since then all toyota products wont do brake stands. in the event the accelerator and brake pedal are both depressed, the power will be cut.

how does the dashboard tell you it knows you are on the brake pedal? im so confused here. was your parking brake set? that and abs are the only 2 lights that come on to tell you a brake is engaged

 

4 days ago the weather was 93 degrees in your location. How that affects your failure I do not know. These occurances seem to be pretty random. People have towed and not towed when it happened in various temps.

 

Was over 100 but that should have no effect on a new vehicle
