We used a rubber spacer on the outsides of the upper and lower mounts to push it in as far as possible without binding up the shock.

We took every precaution, cycled, measured, rinse & repeat.

Still happens with one stuffed, one drooped

I once had a dream like yours....."I'll just move the axle tabs inward a bit and I won't rub like everyone else

......and magical unicorns spewing pixie dust out of their asses will protect my shock bodies".

Are your tires 3/4" from your shock at bump?

    Denial is the first stage...

Look at it this way. If you never go offroad, youll never scrub the shock.

Probably not even that far out with 1.25" spacers. :anonymous:

Actually I'm pretty sure that the root of the issue is that you dorks just refused to listen to me and or admit that I could be right...

The pixie dust is on the spacers ;)

Also wouldn't it just be easier to run a thinner shock like a billie instead of fancy 2.5 kings or whatever?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I don't have any spacers. I am running 315/75/16 Maxxis Bighorn on 16x8s with 4.5 backspacing, 0 Offset. I run Allpro standard leaf with Fabjunkie shackle flip and stock shackles. I use wheelers superbumps without spacers as well on top of an allpro flip kit plate. I barely rub cosmetically on the driver side which I need to move the tabs. Otherwise I think it is good. Am I missing something? I know I just listed about 8 different variables since droop plays a significant role in this. Oh yeah, I am running Icon 2.0 13" stroke smooth bodies.

Then 12" shocks won't be fun and you'll be wanting 14" ones or unless you want to be like @SMKYTXN then go 16" :D
