Ok tw, so I live in south louisiana and was affected by the recent flooding. This picture is one I took as we were leaving my house by boat. I haven't been able to get back yet to see the damage but judging from some pictures I have seen from my neighbors house the water came up another 2 ft. Do you think they will total my taco?20160814_063140.jpg

As long as water didn't enter the actual cab, I don't see a reason why it would be totaled.

If it's 2 ft higher than the photo, there's a very good chance of that. Sorry to see that, that's awful for all of you down there.

i'm so sorry you went through that. I can't even imagine looking back at your house and vehicles just sitting there as the water rises. I hope everyone is safe!

As for the truck, if it did go up another 2 feet, i'm pretty sure that's a total loss. Flood damage is no joke.

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
There's a very very good chance the interior took water in from the looks of the picture, that's awful!!

Sorry that you have to go through this. Wish you the best!

From uploaded picture I doubt that it will be totaled. I believe water has to enter moving parts-engine, trans etc.

As far as looking back at every thing you own go under water, that's the most helpless feeling I have ever had. Water was not supposed to come up in my area for another 24hrs, I had a bag packed and was gonna leave that morning, I was about 3 hrs too late

So sorry man. It's all just stuff. Glad to hear that you and the family made it out OK.

As a rule of thumb, if it gets up to the dashboard it's usually done.
