They extended it to 2011 models I think. Mine is a 2008.

 

They extended the frame rust up to 2011 models? I just took mine in for state inspection last Friday and asked when they were going to extend past the 2008 model year for rust issues. They said they didn't know of any plans to extend.
Also, I had them flush and fill my cooling system while it was there. I don't like messing with the antifreeze, afraid animals will get into it or something. The old fluid was definitely pink, but the new stuff looks more red. Did they change formulas?

Gonna depend on your inspector and more importantly. The state trooper who inspects that station. I have LED's and fog lights that are not DOT stamped and I have to pull them every time because the inspector doesn't want to get in trouble with the trooper. Fucking VA inspection laws.

 

I found a "ghetto" station in fairfax that doesnt have a lift. I will just go there from now on

 

Frame recall is still 2005-2008 for 2nd gens but the time to submit a request is over. I have a feeling they are going to open it up to newer years once they get through the backlog of 05-08's.

They probably used straight antifreeze instead of 50/50 with distilled water and didn't quite get the mix right. I wouldn't sweat it too much.

 

Hmmm depending if I get shit from Toyota the next time I bring in mine I might have to hunt that one down. Fairfax is only a few min down the road.

the one I use is at Nutley and 66. Fairfax is a big place it seems.. I am in Ashburn, so its about 35 min from me. I guess its worth it, if I pass inspection. I havent been using the dealership at all

 

Since I got my truck up here at a dealership during their crazy sale I have always gone to them for my inspections, things might change soon. On another note, I almost have on my left 2.5 King!
