Not gonna lie, I had a bacon cheeseburger toaster (the one with the onion ring on it) and a large cheese tots from sonic today for lunch.

I tried to do legs today. The tailbone still doesn't like it. I tried to squat. I could only do 185 without it being completely unbearable. Still hurt like a bitch though. Then tried to deadlift. I had zero hip drive because it hurt to clench my ass to push through at the top. I'm about to freak out.

Just had cauliflower rice from trader joes for the first time holy crap that stuff is pretty on point when you're trying to be low carb. 16g of carb in the whole babe and 8g of fiber. So essentially only 8 net carbs.

So, I decided I'm gonna start my bulk on Sept 1. Gonna try to get down to around 187 before then. Since I plan on bulking, I was thinking maybe droping the calories down from 2200 per day maybe to an even 2000 to put me around a 700 calorie deficit just to squeeze out that last little bit of fat loss. Thoughts?

Also, started back school this week and my gym schedule is all fucked up. I have class on Mon, Tue, and Thurs from 6-9pm, so my gym days will be Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun. The problem is that in 6+ yrs of lifting I've been to the gym on a Sunday once ever. Sunday has always been my lazy day. I'm either thinking I'm gonna suck it up and do it or just combine legs and shoulders. Or I decide to go to 3 days per week, maybe upper/lower/upper one week and lower/upper/lower then next week. I'll figure it out :notsure:

It really sucks not being able to get into the gym until Wed though :pout:

Sunday is my favorite gym day. Its always dead and I rarely have an excuse to cut a workout short. I take Monday's off because fuck Monday.

Monday is my favorite. I don't know why, but I love working out when the gym is packed. I push myself harder when people are around and I just can't do the same when I'm all alone. #narcissisticcrew

I like Sundays and Mondays. Sunday because it is almost always an empty gym and Mondays because I love starting a new work week by crushing a work out. Gives me a little extra push to get through the week.

@zacharypaul89 I start this coming Monday. Classes 6-9 pm Monday through Thursday. Fuuuuuuck at least it's my last year.

That is an idea that is so foreign to me. I hate packed gyms. I hate waiting for machines and seeing all the fuckery that goes on. Although, it is relatively entertaining sometimes. One of my favorites: the average sized guy with modest lifts who wears stringer tank tops and has invisible lat syndrome. Not clowning anyone for trying, but clowning people for acting like they're a Lilliebridge after a few months of lifting (or maybe the have been lifting for a while and not making any gainz, fuck, who knows).

I've always found the AM workouts better (~5am) in the way of people traffic. Have you thought about going in the morning, or does your schedule not allow for that?

I don't think his body will allow it. I know mine won't. Anything pre 8am and I am a corpse

I'm a morning person, granted I need about 30 minutes of being awake before I even think of getting dressed.

But AM workouts are good for me. I don't talk to people so I can get my stuff done. In, lift, out. All about handling that bidness.

I am either 5 am or 9:30/10 pm. Just depends on my schedule that day. Today was a 5 am day. I was into my working sets for deadlifts by 5:15. Bets way to start the day IMO. Well, either that, or morning sex. But the wife wasn't up for it at 4:30 this morning.

Just tell her it'll count for the daily cardio.

I usually go in the a.m. just not that early. My alarm goes off at 7. I usually roll out of bed by 7:30-7:45. I try to get to the gym before 9am. If not, I go at like 2:00. Anything later than that and it messes my night up, I can't come down off the adrenaline rush to just relax...

Usually by the end of my workouts I am worn the fuck out. It's usually the nights that I don't lift that I have trouble falling asleep. If I do lift that late in the evening, I will only take one scoop of pre-workout though.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I wasn't a fan of PM workouts because I would never get to bed.

But on a serious note, @zacharypaul89 will 200 less calories a day really make that big of a difference for you in 2 weeks? That would result in a negligible difference, if any, for me.
