You get the rearview dimming mirror with the Sport/OR as well.

The Limited gives you the homelink mirror.

Curious all of you TRD Sport owners out
Ha..Im not that lazy that I cant hit my own garage door opener. I was more concerned with the auto dim feature which I love.

Yep, me too, but the ride, handling and seats killed it for me. I have hard time believing those seats are real leather. Maybe someone else can comment on the "leather". 18 inch wheels are nice and I think the rear view mirror is auto dimming in the sport. I have
GM's version of homelink on my Silverado now but don't use it so that is a non issue for me.

Curious too on other Limited owners on the leather. I read the ENTIRE Clazzio thread and I can't tell a difference on 95% of the pics posted there of the Clazzios vs Factory installed leather. Everyone raves about them but I have never seen in person either though. At $450 for the Clazzios its very tempting.

I have to be honest, I was not a fan of the Limited leather, mainly because there was only one color choice.

Agreed not a huge fan of the Hickory color but I don't absolutely hate it either. Crazy that Toyota on their Limited model wouldn't offer at least a couple different color choices. It looks ok with Black, Blue or white exterior color but not a fan with Silver or Red.

    I have a Sport 2x4 AC.

Love the JBL stereo - I'm in my early 50's and listen primarily to CD's of many genres. It sounds great and fills the cab with quality depth.

Do not like the scoop. Looks kind of cool from the outside, but while driving it is visually in the way.

How long have you had it? I was hoping when I test drove it that over time it wouldn't seem like it was in the way.

I've had it nearly six months, still don't like the scoop. But a lot of people do so take that with a grain of salt.

Gotcha. It does look good from the exterior IMO though. Makes the truck much more aggressive looking.

Do you need to know, or care?
I have the leather, definitely had to grow on me a little, but like it now. Can't really speak to quality comparison, I've never seen or felt the Clazzio leather, but the quality of the Toyota leather is very good, IMO. It does get scorching hot in full sun on a hot day, but I would assume that from all leathers. Easy to clean and maintain. Wish they had coolers in them, but not overly complaining since being in Canada where it doesn't really get that hot too often, at least on the West Coast.

Being in Canada, there are options on the Limited that you can't get on any other model, period! Including JBL and Sonar, not a deal breaker but I personally don't like the hood on the Sport and owned a Limited 2nd Gen, so why not a 3rd :).

Really comes down to personal choice OP. Weigh the important options out and then decide what is important to you and what's less important. You'll go crazy thinking if I do this, then that, add this, take away that, pay a little here, save there....just pick key items you want and then decide.

^ you are correct, my mistake.

I just checked the specs and the AC Sport has what they call the Entune Premium Audio which looks like one step down from the Premium JBL Audio.

So if mine is one step down and sounds great, I can't imagine being disappointed with the JBL.

I put clazzio leather in my FJ Cruisers and it was great. Installed properly and no one knew they were covers.

The heated seats are nice, not sure if they are available with the cloth seats...

In terms of handling straight off the dealer lot - given how over-inflated the tires were on my vehicle at the time of purchase and how the dealer continually jacks them up every time they service the vehicle, I wouldn't judge any vehicle's handling unless I personally checked the tire pressures.

My taco floats all over the place given the 40 PSI (COLD pressure) the dealer is determined to pump into it... I now bring along a tire pressure gauge to drop the tires back to a realistic level before I leave the dealer.

I have a '17 Limited, Red with the hickory leather and have had nothing but complements on the color and the leather. The red is a deep metallic and looks much better than the pictures. Also, I didn't care much for the blind spot indicators, but I have found them to be one of the best features, they help me a great deal, especially for interstate driving. If you decide later that you want a stiffer ride, there are lots of ways to make that adjustment later. I really like my limited!
