Would like to connect on a big trip- i would start in SoCal then meet up at Moab, etc.

However, there is no way I am going off road in the CA desert in 110-120 degree heat. It would not be smart, lol! I am thinking winter/ or perhaps spring.

 

Guy doesn't know how much he wants for the parts and I dunno what to offer, so gonna call some junkyards and see what they would usually charge. Not real sure I am up to this challenge, but I'll at least explore the cost of it.

I'm just going to be honest and say I don't have $1000 to spend right now. I'd have to get a part at a time probably, and going by that link, the transmission alone is out of my current price range.

 

yea thats what i did apart at a time but i got lucky tho i have about $1100 in my swap

I lived in YUMA for 4 months working with the marines. Meh. Its not hot
