It's been raining all week. Wiped it down on Monday though after work.

 

Currently de-badging!!

 

Just did the de-badging to.

 

I live in north central wv lol.
20 min south of Morgantown.

 

How is it getting them off ? Just run some fishing line behind them then wipe the glue off?

 

I have a base model with no fogs, is there any factory parts that are needed for the install or is everything in the BD kit?

 

Can you show some night shots of them I can't decide if I want wide or driving beam.

I got a set for my 2013 with the 18 watt amber bulbs. All in for ~$170, tax and shipping included. Customer service is top notch too. Will post pics when they're on, but there are others in previous posts.

 

I have been eyeing those as well, in my budget for sure. Kinda like the look of the round light vs the square.

 

Exactly. Super easy. And I got some fresh micro fiber cloths for glue removal.

Fishing line then a hose down and then I used some rem-oil (WD-40) with a micro fiber and my finger nails to get the rest of the glue/tape off.

 

Will do, I was recommended wide from Bailey at BD since it's the most street friendly.

I also considered this system and liked it. As you said, I also prefer the round vs square. Also saw BD's system could allow me to change the pattern of the lights. I ended up finding a group buy on BD products and ended up with this system since I saved a bit of cash compared to ordering from BD directly

One con about this is the gap that can been seen from looking at the side though

 

Do you think the XL 80 R would fit in fog light location?

I saw the kit from @Baja Designs thread. It mentions Squadron R and standard Squadrons

 

I dont know what you would need, the BD kit is just an adaptor to connect the light to the factory plug + mounting brackets seen here:

The fishing line part is the easy part. Wiping the glue off is the PITA. I used a heat gun cautiously with a mild and a not so mild gunk remover. You have to kinda roll it off and it's a ... bring a few beers and try not to fehk up your clear coat..

I wouldn't recommend a heat gun. Use a hair dryer instead. Less likely to mess up your paint.
