NE area wheeling trip plans

This pic prompted quick replacement from HS which was nice. Bottom of rivet definitely didnt hit anything but think it did get flexed pretty good

 

Is that a dakar pack? If so I just got mine from them hopefully nothing happens to my set

 

Nope headstrong aal. Not even sure how necessary it is but still not right which is why they sent out replacement

 

Wow that's weird! I had the ToyTec AAL which is made by Deaver and that did not have a guide like yours does. Rebecca @DoubleRGirl do you have the same AAL?

Finally got to clean her up and show her i still care after sundays abuse haha

Cant wait to dirty her up again soon! Though mud was hiding one that will need a bit more than compound and glaze

 

Time for a second set of wheels and tires for the woods .

Did some research on the Lost Trains part of next weeks (damn thats soon!) adventure.... wow, really cool history and such a feat getting steam powered locomotives into the butt middle of nowhere!! And they did it in the winter!! Now thats some NE shit right there... Still trying to make it work gettin up there, the GF and I cancelled on our usual vaca up to Long Island, ME, which would've put me close enough to convince her to go wheelin. Too much traffic and no parking in Portland finally nixed it for us. Would love to make it, but def still tentative for muah

 

I'm pretty sure a lot of us hit the same rock... Driverside rear wheel?

 

I was checking out different things up that way. One was ledge falls, might stop on the way back from the trains. There are so many cool areas I would like to explore but have zero experience in hiking the back woods.

 

That would be awesome. Baxter State Park. I have a feeling that if I do go, I'd be camping in the backwoods, let alone hiking! I feel like bug spray and some working a/c in my truck and I'll be golden...

Which rig are you taking up?

 

So is wheeling happening on the 26th? Or are people getting rest, then wheeling Saturday and Sunday? Need to make a reservation! Thanks!

yessir! couldnt believe i got the drivers side and not the passenger side. oh well, dont think these wheels are long for this truck

 

I got my pass rear on mine.

 

@WinSlow939 and myself both got body panels intimately acquainted with trees. I put a good size gouge on each wheel as well.

 

Where did you guys get the damage? What rock?
