    Sure will. Was just thinking that the flip moving the axel lower also allows it to go into more of a negative arch, therby actually increasing wheel travel.

    With the stock inverted shackle setup this adjustment is not possible

    And you can see, even with tiny tires, more articulation is gained assuming you relocate your shocks to be able to handle the travel

    That pic really shows how the shackle angle changes through the movement of the spring from arched to flat. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of shackle position effecting spring rate though. Not sure how the shackle can either cause more or less force needed to flatten out the leafs.

    285/75R17 on methods, Icon RR front with UCA, dakars with fox 2.0's out back. CBI Dakar Hybrid with homemade 1/4" skids. 4.56's with ARB.
    It doesn't, at different angles tho, more of the suspensions movement is a result of shackle movement than spring compression. IE, at < 90* net suspensions travel is more from leaf spring compression than shackle movement, at >90* net suspension travel is more from shackle movement than spring compression there for "lessening spring rate"....I think. I'm just taking guess here
