Leafs are a personal preference, I'd leave em alone for now, drive around on em for a month or two, then decide. I'm sure with the spindle lift and Dakar's, you should run fairly level.

 

Kinda what I was thinking. Already trying to lessen my drive shaft angle and I don't even have anything installed

 

We can do a before and after measurement of the shaft angles, just remind me.

Ok, that sounds like a plan. Just wait on buying a shim then?? I just don't want to have to drive around for a few weeks with insane vibes lol. And I think with 4inches up front and a full Dakar pack the vibes will be in full force.

 

Shims are hit or miss. You might need them, then you may not. I have 3* shims on the shelf along with various size spacers for the center support bearing including the OME branded one.

 

Dude, that makes me feel a lot better. I'm getting kinda antsy and wanting to do this already. Going to do my best to paint these spindles this weekend. I wonder how people did it. These fuckers are prolly 35lbs a pop.

@SpruceTaco how did you actually paint your spindles?? They are so damn heavy!!!

Just lay them down and do one side and let dry and do the other??

Or did you hang them from something? Sorry I got so many questions.
