Maybe it's just sleep apnea and not seizures.

 

Good luck to you. My GF has been dealing with the same issue only during the day. She's had 2 EEG's and multiple visits to neurologists and they have no clue what's causing it. Hopefully 72 straight hours will give you some answers.

 

It could be apnea seizures or nocturnal seizures, we do know I'm having seizures. I've recorded myself sleeping a few times and watching my legs kick faster then I can move them when I'm awake and my body shakes. My first EEG they were able to start a seizure with the light test.

I just want to sleep like my wife does. She lays down, falls asleep right away, barley moves throughout the night, and wakes up refreshed.

I can't remember the last time I woke up feeling refreshed.

 

Soooooooo bored. Ive got 2.5 hrs until my next class.

 

A QEEG is a great start for seizure therapy, got a cap on your head with some electrodes on it? Basically makes a topo map of your brain, the doctors can see what's active and whats not, helps them develop a plan of attack . I don't mean to scare you, because you are just getting started. But i've had well over a hundred EEG neurofeedback therapy sessions as well as PET scans etc. I think my whole "treatment" lasted about a year and half. But I can tell you I don't have any problems, and I haven't had any since 2010 when I finished my treatment. I had a combo of ADD and some other stuff i'd rather not share with you all.

Thanks for the info. As long as my doctors keep trying new things to figure out what is going on I'm happy.

Was the PET test painful? They talked about that and some nervous system test that 'hurts' a lot.

 

Naw, they just shoot ya up with a radioactive tracer and then you basically get an MRI of your head. Needle was the worst part. I never got any nervous system tests like that, so i'm not sure on that one.

 

So I'm in one of the highest volume stores in AZ, and we've been reduced to this much space.
