    I know exactly what's gotta be removed, when I get on a roll I'm not a talking wrencher. I've done 2 sets of max Tracs 5 sets of springs with the compressor from auto zone they hate using. I've done work for @johnnytaco23 @Hugopreston @Rwood90 @Rattletrap66 @xweslingx @TAZ2014Taco all my own stuff and my wifes 14 4runner. I've done a few things. But can never get to a mod day in tampa since they do them on Saturdays mostly

    Haha, I understood that. Just saying you're younger and more heat resistant than I am...especially lately. This summer has been killing me heat-wise. I've got no endurance anymore. :oops: The other day, I was just standing outside not doing anything and I was sweating like I was being roasted, haha.

    That would be awesome if you could come out. We'll just need to pin down a date.

    @i30nes, Rick texted me this afternoon. I think he's starting to chomp at the bit. When he first talked about it he wanted to wait until September when it might not be quite as hot, but now he's talking about wanting to do it in the next couple of weekends, haha. When is a good date for you, starting no earlier than September 3rd?

    This is exactly what we need. I'm like that too, but like I was saying, my body can't keep up with that level of output anymore so I'm a bit slower than I used to be, especially when it's hot, and I have to take a break to sit in front of the fan to cool off every so often.

    I agree about the heat too... But the itch is getting more and more annoying. After this weekend I am off call so the next two weekends I am open.

    Hah yeah. Well lets see what the remainder of the group is feeling. But I should be game for that weekend. Will see if I can't get the brake lines swapped out prior to alleviate some of the work.

    @Taco No Baka ,

    2 weeks ago, I noticed a squealing sound whenever I had applied the brakes. I assumed it was time to replace them. Then about 1 week ago, I noticed more of a low grinding sound when applying the brakes (coming from the front of the truck) but it was more towards when I was coming to a complete stop. It would start a few seconds before completely stopping. I replaced the brake pads last night and the sound is still there. I am thinking it may be my rotors but am not sure what else it could be. I read that it may just be a vibration between the rotors and pads that is unavoidable. Any ideas?

    Did you check you're wheel bearings? If those are okay, if you didn't have your rotors turned, then try taking some sandpaper and scuffing up the friction surface of the rotors...or having them turned.

    Jack the truck up, grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock position and try to wiggle it. If it moves, then your wheel bearing is bad. If that test is inconclusive, roll the tire and listen for any noise coming from the hub, or any roughness felt while rotating. If you detect either of those, then it could be a bad bearing.

    --Large jack stands (I only have two medium sized ones, so if you have a set of medium or large ones, they would be useful.)

    --2 ton or better Floor Jack (I only have one fully functional one, but a second one would be helpful if we are going to work both trucks simultaneously.)

    I'm a little concerned that doing full lifts on two trucks in one day might be a little ambitious, so the more folks that come to help out, the faster things will go. If anyone else can make it, that would be great. let me know if we can expect you. :thumbsup:
