It would be nice to have another truck out there. It would be a real bitch to get stranded on the mountain with no cell signal. I was looking at Google Maps this morning and there are a ton of turns I could have taken that would've led me into the vast wilderness. I guess luck or instinct took over and we came out on route 33 an hour before dark. I had a blast and cant wait to do it again. Didn't even get stuck and get to use my new high lift jack. Thinking about doing a CB radio install very soon.

I don't know about legal play areas out here in Charles City. I like to ride to the DGIF land when it snows and drive around for a bit.

I think @rjsimz is getting some front coilovers next week. If he wants to wait for Friday, you can come along and I can help you both. Bring $700 and I'll hook you up with a proper "leveling" kit :p

Haha as much as I would like to have a proper leveling or lift kit for that matter, I've luckily got the sense to spend my money on more important things right now haha. I've got too much going on to be spending money like that right now haha. My last day in the Navy is Tuesday! My wife is going underway so Ill be all alone until end of September when I start my new job. If you've got the time, I would love to come over and install this bitch real quick haha. It would be much easier at someone's house vs at my apartment complex

I feel you in the apartment complex. I just sold my house last weekend and have everything including my tools and jacks in storage awaiting my move to Eglin AFB in a month

FrustrationFabTaco I may be interested in the rear shocks. Are they OEM bilstein? Looking to replace my base model OEMs on my 08.

The simplest tasks just become so sweaty and miserable man. Replaced my rear shocks today and I was miserable. Drenched in sweat, bolts not wanting to come out...fuck apartment complexes lol congrats on the house sale!

Definitely understand that. Especially in this fuckin heat. Thanks a lot! Was expecting to come out of pocket on the house but ended up coming out on top. Got real lucky. Sherry Snyder from rose & womble realty company. I would recommend her for anyone! She was awesome.

Looks like we got the same truck, except for color! know what you mean about going alone. Took my great nephew out last week for a few mountain days and stuck to mostly fire roads in the gw national forest. Few times I wished I had someone along but stuff worked out. Hope to get another day or two in the near future.
