I love mine. All I take camping now is the skottle and my dutch oven. Thats it. I use it a ton around the house too. I picked mine up from bobby at cvt after checking them out at a show. My mom came to visit this spring and thought it was so cool she made my run to CVT (ten mins away) and pick one up for her as well.

I read somewhere that they were making a Snow Peak Iron Grill Table adapter. If you reach out about a group buy ask about that as I'd be in.

Think of it as a steam age extension cord. In many mountainous areas it's just not logistically possible to get an engine to the best spot. The two flywheels are fitted to the belts and eventually one connects to a steam engine and the other can connect to an identical double wheel, or to the machine. This is my fathers - now mine - Case steam engine running a wheat threshing machine to separate the chaff from the grain at a recent antique farm equipment demonstration. Photo compliments of a family friend.

It's for sale so let me know if interested.

Gas engines too. This one in Death Valley powered various equipment spread out over about 1/2 an acre. Also has a cone clutch with cork lining. Not my pic.

I figured you would recognize that one.
Got a kick out of the old differential used as a right angle drive over one of the cyanide tanks.

Have spent a good amount of time out at Tecopa. The mines are absolutely massive. A maze of tunnels and levels.

These were taken a few years ago in the War Eagle. We spent nearly 4 hours underground exploring and ended up having lunch about 2 levels down at a old mine cart. Soo much fun and hell of a rush.

Extra flashlights and lots of batteries...

I've been eying these for a while now. My main question was whether you could boil water. Now that that's answered...I'm in. If I can control myself and wait.
