No there is a harness that is needed a dash trim that is crazy expensive and if you got steering controls a interface for them. Never mind I see 01 so I don't know.

Head unit! That's the term I was looking for. Thanks for the link. Other than that, it's just fitting some plastic trim to take up the extra space left over from the giant stock unit?

Ya pretty much. Order through www.crutchfield.com and they should be able to determine which models are compatible and what trim you need.

No problem. I've had that harness for over 2 years and still haven't put it with a new head unit.

Cartronics. I should be able to get you a good deal on install parts. Send me a text tomorrow to remind me and I'll call up there and get a price.

Anyone considering the Interlake trip in September.....Date is now set. 17th of September. No one could make the 10th, and my work schedule says no way on the 24th. Follow "Official Central Kentucky Thread" for updates.

Hello all! Just stumbled on the TN thread. Had no idea this was here! I'm in the Smyrna/La Vergne area. Somewhat newer to the Taco world. Just got mine a few months ago. Already itching to swap out the HU, plastidip some of the internal trim, maybe get a console/arm rest cover and wrap the door handles.

Would LOVE to do the LED gauge cluster swap. Anyone around here tried that yet?

No water in from front corners of shell all week.
    Duck tape FTW.
    :D
There is an olive drab tape that's not far off from pyrite. For your new truck though, they also have white ducktape.

Awesome! Glad you solved it. It was so small of a leak that I never bothered investigating.

I miss that shell more than my truck. :(

It's ok. I'm giving it some love.
Fixed the catches on the side Windows so they both latch securely. Going to get keys for locks and reseal the brake light soon.

Good deal Dave. Curious to see how that tan looks on your truck. Never seen one on an inferno truck.

I think it should look pretty good. If not, I can always dye it black. I saw this picture which gave me an idea of how the colors will look together.

And someone photoshopped my truck with both black and tan.

I'm also thinking about putting Konig Countersteer Type X's on in the spring in Bronze.
