@JKO1998 don't just throw money at a Hail Mary.....as in if it ain't broke don't fix it.....take it somewhere (mechanic that knows Tacomas) and have him diagnose it before you go dropping money on shit you don't need....if that makes sense

No it's been noticeable for awhile, I just figure I'd "fix" stuff while I have a little bit of cash saved.

Also there's just a sight tick tick tick on the drivers side, that's why I though bearing
That's true, I figured at 225k LBJ were kinda PM, just wanna be safe with those for sure.

What ever happened with your battery warning light issue? Did you get that taken care of?

I dunno, I read, so it's probably not true and I'm dumb, that WB make a ticking sound and kinda vibrate when they're going bad. That description fits my drivers side.
After coughing and wheezing my way into the Autozone parking lot, getting the alternator tested, figuring out it was bad, and then the truck dying in the parking lot. It turned off after a battery and alternator, for now.

Noticed ive put 30k on the truck since ive owned it.

In that amount the things ive replaced are

    Ujoints
    Front and rear axle seals
    Both cv boots
    Carrier bearing
    Front needle bearing
    One caliper
    Rack bushings
    Gas cap
    One inner tie rod
One o2 sensor (previous owner damaged)

Mostly small stuff and i think more than acceptable for a truck over 20 years old.

Its really easy to see if your bearings are bad. Jack a tire off the ground and grab the top and bottom of your wheel and rock it in and out. If there's play or clicking then your bearing/hub is bad. Also, does the humming get worse when braking?

Same here. I think mine is a vacuum leak as it has started to have a small sputter every once in awhile while idling at a stop light.

Alot of times there isn't any play yet. Should be able to hear while spinning the wheel though.

Is it a tick or clicking noise? More noticeable on turns? Could be your CV's depending on what your angles are like.

Would it be possible to fit a k&n intake tube to the stock box and throttle body?

RockAuto's been my go-to since I started heavily wrenching. Not sure which engine you have, but they have the kit for all three. May as well do the oil pump while you're all up in your ride's bizsnatch
