What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

They did some part swapping. There are no RC 2016's

 

No rub daily driving or at full lock, haven't gone offroad yet.

Thank you. Its actually a leveling kit for now i believe its a 2.5/ 1.5...i offroad once a month or not even at all.

 

Absolutely under $100 in FL, mine was $75ish recently, but I have a specially plate that I think costs me $30 extra a year or something. I cant believe those other states! It sounds like you are new to FL, so only under $100 if you already have a FL plate, if you need to get a FL plate add like $250 to the registration.

 

I'm in Maine and when I registered my tundra last year it was over $800! I love being behind someone at my local town hall that just moved to Maine from a state that doesn't have them pay excise tax. It's a shocked look when their bill is over a grand.

Same here, In MO the license plate renewal is under $100 but we have a personal property tax that we have to pay each year, so between my Motorcycle and the Truck I will have to pay over $600. I also love seeing people in the DMV who are just moving and their jaw hits the floor. Does anyone else have a "personal property tax," I've never heard of another state that has one. You get a bill every december and have to pay it before Jan. 1st

 

I want to get some of these. The Amazon link you provided says it doesn't fit a 2016 double cab. Is that true or is Amazon just not up to date on their info?

 

When you get a chance could you post a view from the front? I want to see the difference in your offset vs mine.

on the 2016 door sills they are a bit wider than the 2nd gen ones....the 2016 actually fold down on the door side compared to the 2nd gen ones they are flushed

Yeah...I know. My wife has a vinyl cutter and she swears that she can make them. Unfortunately she doesn't handle projects like me and procrastinates. She's made it half way through the Tacoma tailgate letters and then a bunch of weddings and vacations happened and my little project hit the backseat. I should just buy them.

 

Get some vinyl letters from @rrentrop on here, they really make them look good
