    Hey NE peeps

Im seriously looking into purchasing sliders soon for my 1st gen. Have a couple questions I'm sure you all can chime in on:

What sliders are you running and have they worked out well?

Bolt on or weld on; which do you have and why did you go with it?

Are the rear kick out's worth it? what made you choose that option if ya got em?

I know theres countless threads on sliders, but I wanted feedback from people I'll actually wheel with

Shrug. I enjoy being around mine when she's not grouchy. But when she is, I really don't enjoy it that much.

My personal favorite is when you tell them something and they forget, you never told them..even when you can produce irrefutable proof of the fact that you told them.

Yup the moment that people start talking about women's hormones and boom there is Scott!
Sounds like you guys have it pretty figured out.

Do something nice for them one minute. Duck and cover the next!

Let's make a set. I'll order some metal. It'll take a day with the bender. Bolt on, by the way.

    And Rebecca disappears.

If I haven't figured it out after nearly 12 years of living with a woman, god help me because she sure as hell won't.

If I was to have a 1st gen I would just get weld on (especially since Cam is a friend and close to you!). Look at either 4xinnovations or Trail Gear DOM sliders. They are both nice and pretty cheap

I went with bolt on because I keep hoping Toyota will change their mind and replace my frame... Also the kick outs work, I used them on Sunday haha.

Honestly.. If I had the tools and time I would make my own... Make the kick out a little more prominent and extend it back further because I don't like how it doesn't extend closer to the bed in the rear.

I have sos concept skids/sliders and a 4x innovation gas tank skid and lca skids.

I think that one mod that warned me had some repressed unresolved sexual feelings that got brought to the surface after I posted pics of shirtless men

Cbi makes the only true bolt on first gen sliders. Fran is running them iirc. I had BAMF bolt ons, they required I think 4 holes /side drilled in the frame. They were awesome though, but also expensive. Definitely get kickout, it'll help save the bedsides
