acetic acid does pretty well with waterspots

 

someone told me this before, but I never tried it

 

it covers that...so if you had skids and hit that same rock, the skid would have taken the hit.

I use that Diamond Magic product to remove water spots. Can find at Longs or Wal Mart.

 

Yeah, I have that one too. It's exactly like the "Ace" bottle of glass waterspot remover.

Is it ok to run 0w-20 full synthetic in my 2015 V6? Friend has a bunch of oil from his work. FJ Cruisers use 0w-20. Aren't they the same motor?

 

Not sure what the 4.0's use but The new 3.5 motor uses the same weight/viscosity oil as the one you mentioned

 

I don't know if it's ok...but pretty sure the 4.0 calls for 5w-30

 

I have the Griots glass polish and use it with a fine steel wool. Then use the Griots glass sealer. It's been months since I did my windows and absolutely no water spots. Highly recommend them. And I know a local guy who sells all their stuff from his garage. Lmk if you need the hookup..

Fwiw, my plastic skid had some 1/4" deep gouges when removed. Personally I think protecting the tank, while it may not be totally necessary, is a good thing. It's a vital component and its plastic.
