Too poor to list anything interesting.
I made that haul from Moab to Houston in one go. Get a passenger to go with you. Makes it much easier.

Also, the storms around the panhandle get viscous. I ended up driving through a storm for an hour out of that trek. 1" hail, heavy rain, and 50mph gusting winds.

Anyone thought about showering? I've never been on the road for this long so please excuse the newb :sorry: I just gotta plan ahead. Do I need to build a shower or is there places that will let us shower? If anyone finds any threads about this that would be great :anonymous:

I was considering a hotel twice on the trip for shower use.

There will be some who get hotel rooms. You can use one of their showers before they check out if you don't get around to building one.

Good idea. It's the wife and kids I'm concerned about the most.

    Check The Build Thread
Pressurized water jug/container for shower should be good. I've got one of those hanging camp showers that get hot from the sun and a small pop up cabana. Also got a portable flushing toilet that won't be making the trip with all the stops available.
