Let me put it on perspective, lets say you just met this girl and you have been invited to some family event since your are the one trying to score, you will take care of the girl and your possible father in laws, of course you dont want to make the trip unconformable on you brand new tacoma, you will try to impress them, have nice music, good chat and have a nice ride so with that in mind what would be your best choice? With what system will you bet your money at? Im talking about your toughs not clients, based on your experience.

    Then just get kings
Also I would get wheelers bumpstops for the front and rear considering how crappy the Mexican roads are lol

See what the TRD Pro reviews are (or drive one) and if that suits your needs buy the shocks. Also try to find someone running 6112's and see how it feels.

Short of first hand experience I don't know what else you could do. YotaDan and Smitty are right- it's all perception of the owner.

No lift is going to give you "softer" ride than stock. If you only want 1/2"-1" lift, run a 1/2" spacer over the stock coilovers and call it a day.

I call bilstein today about a tech question I had about the 6112's and the sales person told me to wait until the end of the year when they will release some new shocks for 16 and up tacomas, I might wait.
